What’s the Scoop

Brighton & Hove make the Top 10 for UK’s Friendliest Cities

🏖️ Brighton & Hove has been crowned one of the UK's friendliest cities! A survey by Aviva showed nearly 75% of UK residents find their communities friendly, with Brighton & Hove shining as an "oasis of niceness." Locals raved about its liberal vibe, great food, and beaches. Brighton's charm certainly secures its spot as a top friendly city! As someone who’s only been here a year, I couldn’t agree more. 🤙

The Treason Show Tickets Go On Sale

😂 The Treason Show Summer Special is selling tickets for its Brighton and Shoreham events next month. Celebrating 25 years since it kicked off, it offers satirical songs and sketches with fresh material from founder Mark Brailsford. Expect Trump, Musk and your favourite politicians to all getting a bashing ensuring laughter amid reality's absurdity. Resembling a mix of "Have I Got News For You" and "Spitting Image," performances are on 24th July at the Ironworks Studios in Brighton and 25th July at the Ropetackle Arts Centre in Shoreham, at 8pm. Macmillan Cafe on Bristol Gate in need of Volunteers

☕️ Do a good thing! The Macmillan Horizon Centre café supports individuals affected by cancer, and more volunteers are needed for 3-4 hour shifts during the week. This role is perfect for those with enthusiasm and good organisational skills. As a Café Volunteer, you'll join a friendly team, meet new people, and contribute to a meaningful cause.. Help Macmillan provide vital support to those on their cancer journey.

Pop along to the centre if you think you can spare a few hours each week.
