The Royal Pavillion Gets a Paint Job
🏰 Brighton's Royal Pavilion has unveiled a vibrant new exhibition, COLOUR, open until October 19, 2025. It captures the palace's extravagant design through immersive displays celebrating the magic and meaning of color. With its bold and dramatic style, the Pavilion stands out as one of Britain’s most unique landmarks.
Visitors are greeted by a hand-painted "rainbow road" through the gardens, created by local artist Lois O’Hara in collaboration with YesColours. The swirling, multi-colored walkway is designed to evoke movement and emotion, offering stunning photo opportunities. Inside, the Pavilion's Regency rooms burst to life with dynamic lighting and sound, featuring color-themed objects that enhance the vibrant atmosphere.
Artistic collaborations include a bespoke hat by Stephen Jones, a 3D floral carpet by Karen Hsu, and a Bird of Paradise by Zack Mclaughlin. The Great Kitchen offers interactive play for children, while the Music Room features a color-immersive soundtrack, providing a sensory feast for visitors of all ages 🌈.
Seagulls Overpower The Gunners
⚽️ The final home game of the Women's Super League season saw Brighton deliver a delightful surprise, triumphing 4-2 over a shell-shocked Arsenal. Gunners boss Renee Slegers, seeking redemption after a midweek 5-2 loss to Aston Villa, shuffled her squad with six changes.
Despite their recent Champions League triumph over Lyon, Arsenal faced another dazzling display as Brighton provided fans with a memorable farewell at Broadfield Stadium. Fran Kirby opened the scoring early, only for Caitlin Foord to equalise. However, Jelena Cankovic's double, including a cheeky goal after catching Arsenal napping, and Kiko Seike's swift counter-attack effort sealed Brighton's dominance. Arsenal managed a late consolation via Mariona Caldentey, but the night belonged to high-flying Brighton, poised for a record finish.
Arsenal, meanwhile, will regroup for their finale against closest rivals Manchester United.
