Yellow Heat Health Alert & ReNature festival returns.

Good morning, Brighton. Happy Friday beautiful people. Town has been buzzing the last few days, as have we for various reasons so hopefully you’re as happy as we are.
A short one today but anyway, in today’s Brighton Scoop:
Yellow Heat Health Alert
ReNature Festival Returns

What’s the Scoop
Yellow Heat Health Alert
🥵 It sure is a hot one in Brighton for a few days. A Yellow Heat-Health Alert is in effect for Sussex from yesterday June 12 (9pm) to June 15 (8am). People should protect themselves and others, especially those vulnerable, like the elderly and sick, from dehydration, heat exhaustion, and heatstroke. Stay hydrated, avoid alcohol, and keep cool by staying indoors or in shaded areas. Never leave anyone in parked vehicles, and only swim in designated lifeguarded areas. Seek medical help if heat illness symptoms appear.
Enjoy yourselves but be careful out there whether you’re at the beach or pottering around town.
ReNature Festival Returns
🦋 Get ready for a wild time! The South Downs National Park's ReNature Festival is back from June 22-29, and it’s a butterfly bonanza! With the fluttery friends making a comeback, this jamboree will have you buzzing with excitement. Explore chalky grasslands, enchanting heathlands, and twinkling night skies through nature walks, talks, and magical night safaris.
Celebrate the park's success in restoring habitats. Since 2020, butterfly hero Neil Hulme has spotted nearly 6,000 butterflies, including the charming Duke of Burgundy. Join the fun and help nature sparkle and prance back to glory!
Find out more from the South Downs website.
